Let's do this. Marvel is clearly the winner in my books, as much as I love DC. The movies have surpassed the classics of Batman and Superman by giving us The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man 2, X2, X-Men Days of Future Past, The Winter Soldier, Civil War, and Doctor Strange to name a few greats. Marvel has flopped a few times, but DC has had greater ones, especially recently. TV shows are a close tie, but Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been amazing the last few seasons and the Netflix shows are better than most of the DC stuff. Comic books, while recently DC has been doing a bit better, still has to go to Marvel with more relatable characters. Everyone in the DC universe has become a god at one point and most are hard to connect with at times. Spider-Man was my childhood and he was just easy to understand. Balancing school and work while trying to be a hero. Iron Man and Thor learning to be humble (Thor actually got it at least), Black Panther learning the responsibility of leadership, etc.
I love both, and the TV one is hard to argue, but overall Marvel takes my heart first. There really is no right answer here, so go ahead and debate away.
